This marks all messages in that newsgroup as Read, including all messages on the server that you have not yet downloaded. If your status bar shows something like this:
300 message(s), 150 unread, 39680 not downloaded
you probably need to on that group, unless you really want to download 39,680 messages. Note that will also mark the 150 in the example as Read also.

That is an automatic backup copy of a WAB file (*.wab). To find all Address Books on your computer, including backup copies, click , and search your computer for files named wa?.
What is the little push-pin icon in the lower right corner of OE's download window which pops up when you click ?
"Push" it in with a click to "pin" the download (spooler) window to the display. That will stop it from hiding automatically when the download is finished. Click it again to "un-pin" it.
The Flag means anything you want it to mean. It's just a simple visual reminder that the flagged message has some special significance to you.
It means that OE will take special actions on any replies to the Watched message. Any reply to a Watched message will be marked as Watched automatically. If a news account is configured to be included when OE checks for new messages, any new Watched messages will be automatically downloaded on each new message check.
